Description
Here we have a Chinese bronze seated figure of a male official. This piece is dated to the 16th-17th century Ming Dynasty. This is a truly beautiful piece depicting the Chinese kitchen god, Zao Jun, in a very solemn pose. The texture on the surface has soften due to aging as well as handling through the ages. This is a unique piece, and is difficult to come by.
